Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to become part of the team! ACHP brings pediatric care to many northeast Ohio neighborhoods via one of its 18 practice locations, caring for over 100,000 patients annually. Each office is staffed with board-certified pediatricians and a dedicated support staff. We partner with 12 hospitals to provide newborn care and keep patients in their community healthcare systems whenever possible, therefore, our physicians support community hospitals by attending high risk deliveries and doing pediatric inpatient rounds at our outlying practices.
Ask Children’s, an after-hours nurse triage system screens and handles approximately 90% of the calls, the remaining calls are then transferred to the on-call physician. Join two pediatricians and a certified nurse practitioner in this established practice with each provider working with 4 exam rooms and a dedicated medical assistant. Physicians in this location partner with other ACHP sites in the community attending high risk deliveries and doing pediatric inpatient rounds at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
